So, you are the neighbors! Glad to finally meet you. I am heading up to our cabin ( it’s the stone house on the Duck’s head ) with the family for the long weekend. Stop us if you see us, we will need to buy some honey from you. BTW, where do you get your internet access?

Tickled to “meet” y’all! Let’s get together sometime – we are working in the honey warehouses this weekend (first left after the cattlegate on West Shore Rd – the big red steel buildings), or down in our house (second left after said cattlegate) – if we don’t get to y’all first, stop by and see us!
Our internet connection is via Hughes Net – not cheap, and not consistent, but far superior to dial up!

Hi. Stumbled on to your website via a link on greaterfalls.com. Very cool to see a blog from your neck of the woods. I’ve spent some time in East Glacier (at the Lodge) as well as the Resort/Lodge in St. Mary. And… I’ve had dinner at a joint in Babb (it was almost ten years ago, a very fancy place – they received a great review from the NY Times… however I’m not sure if the restaurant is still in business). Where you live is one of my favorite spots in Montana (I live in Great Falls)… it’s actually one of my favorite places in America. It has a weird combination of being forlorn, mixed in with a gallon of stark beauty. I wish I could put better words to it… but you have to experience it to “get” it. Thanks for putting the blog together, giving us your thoughts and good luck with the honey business.

Comment of the month! Thanks so much, Jim. The restaurant you speak of is the Babb Bar Cattle Baron Supper Club – I worked there, years ago, and it remains my 2nd favorite job of all time – the 1st being that of Vice President/Dirt Laborer, Glacier County Honey Company. And it is still in business!

Comment of the month! Thanks so much, Jim. The restaurant you remember is the Babb Bar Cattle Baron Supper Club – home of the best steak in the world, and my 2nd favorite job ever – 1st being VP/Dirt Laborer at Glacier County Honey Co. We appreciate your kind words more than you know.
