This afternoon, I’m looking out at my mountains.  There are, of course, emails to be answered, a very long to-do list not done, piles of laundry in the hallway, a car overdue for an oil change, floors to be swept, checkbooks to be balanced.  But without free time to reflect, I don’t believe that we grow.  And so I’m giving myself permission to just look out at my mountains this afternoon.

I look to the  mountains, go to the mountains, in part because they are always answering the questions I don’t ask.

Mysterious Chief.  You hold so many secrets, so many prayers.

Moody Yellow.

Quiet afternoon near Babb.  Good thinking time.
